PlayerName Tagger
A tiny companion add-on that tells BedrockToolchest who your players are.
Overview
Not every addon needs to be flashy. PlayerName Tagger is the quiet workhorse that sits in the background making sure BedrockToolchest can properly display player names and IDs.
When a player joins your world, the addon stores their current name and unique ID as a dynamic property. It uses a reliable interval-based system that keeps checking every 10 ticks until the player is fully loaded, because Minecraft sometimes takes its sweet time registering players. Once set, it's done — no ongoing overhead, no periodic checks, just a clean property that BedrockToolchest can read.
It's also smart enough to pick up Xbox gamertag changes, since it reads the live player name rather than cached data from the join event. So when xXDragonSlayer420Xx decides to rebrand as Steve, BedrockToolchest gets the memo.
Install it, forget it exists, enjoy accurate player names. That's the whole pitch.
